Welcome to Swing Patrol. We are a big crazy group of people devoted to having fun, making new friends and sharing our love of Lindy Hop, Balboa, Charleston, Blues, Solo Jazz and Tap Dancing.

Scott Cupit and Claudia Funder started Swing Patrol in 1998 and can now boast over 45 first class teachers, two performance troupes, a plethora of funky social dancers, not to mention fantastic venues where you can learn how to dance, all over town.

Same Bat-time - different Bat-channel! The Unity Hall (292 Darling Street, Balmain) have offered the beautiful Attic Bar (upstairs) as a new home for our monthly Balboa classes that are held on the first Sunday of the month.
The Saturday workshops are aimed at giving you a chance to have progressive development in your Lindy Hop and partner dancing techniques. So even though these are casual, pay as you go classes, it is of a great advantage for yourselves if you come every week. A partner is not required.
If you are having troubles receiving our emails (due to spam filters ar any number of reasons) or you are just passing through, we've posted the latest group email here for you. Over the last few weeks we have had some technical "delivery" problems but we hope to have the issue solved shortly.
