Want to compete?
Paddington (Paddington RSL)
13 Oct 2008
NIce of you to drop by this week and check out what's happening at Paddington.
Perhaps you have heard that we are going to have some special international teachers at Paddington in November.
On the 18th of November, Jean and Bromley from San Francisco will be taking over classes for the evening at the Paddington RSL. So cancel the dinner, set your DVD recorder to record your favourite show, and lock away this date to learn from these superstars.
Check them out at: http://www.jeanandbromley.com/posted/22/shout-and-feel-it
Next week in class the Level 1 students will be continuing with their 6 beat moves to feel more comfortable in stringing steps together on the social dance floor.
Level 2's will revise some of the crazy 6 beat moves we learnt last week. Remember the open turn from closed position, the crossover 6 beat, the pop travel passby and the 6 beat Johnny Jump Back.
Level 3... You put in a great effort with the Slow Lindy (Triple step variation and Outside Turn steal), and Strictly Lindy moves (especially the Tandem Charlseton underarm exit). Next week we will continue to pursue the various aspects of competing in SJC and performing for an audience.
Have a great weekend and we will either see you at Balboa or next week in class,
Jake and Richa
