Dancing to Impress.

Saturday 11th, 18th and 25th October, and Saturday 8th November*.

Are you inspired by the Australian Swing Dance Championships to get out and compete yourself but not feeling quite up to par? Next month we have the Sydney Jitterbug Championships coming up with a few opportunities for you to get out and compete.

Don't let the word competition scare you off, cause really its a just a bunch of fun and a chance to get out on the floor to take your dancing to a new level.

For 3 weeks in October, Jake will be taking you through some simple and fun ways to prepare you for dancing in front of an audience and in front of judges. Jake will take you through the essentials of impressing an audience from musicality and timing, to partnership and showmanship.

You will be amazed at what just 2 hours a week over 3 weeks will do for your dancing. So set aside these Saturdays in your diaries now! A partner is not necessary but is most beneficial if you are planning on competing. Don't be scared to ask someone in class or at social dancing to join you, it will be a blast.

 * Saturday 8th November will be specifically dedicated to those wanting to compete at SJC.

Session I at 1.30pm. Musicality, Timing and Technique... In the first hour we will work on cleaning up your dancing. Consider this like a private lesson where Jake will work on your specific dancing requirements.

Session II at 2.30pm. Working the audience... The second hour will be dedicated to developing the skills to entertain and engage the audience.
